We are pleased to present this virtual art gallery for our Spring 2021 group show ONE BAY / SHRINKING SHORELINES / TOXIC WATERS.
Curator Regina Gilligan has selected 21 artists for this show whose work reflects the beauty of the bay and its shoreline communities. The inspiration for this show comes from BridgeMakerARTs’ hometown, Richmond.
Chevron oil spills and contested shoreline projects have threatened the health of the bay, deprived our community of open shoreline, and disturb land filled with toxic chemicals. The wildlife above and beneath the bay is at risk. All that we stand to lose.
These artworks are a call to action. So much has already been lost. To purchase artworks, please contact each artist directly—you will find contact details on each artist page.
